Red Blaza

The Man, The Myth, The Legend

October was a tough month for those of us in the Cannabis Community. We lost another legend and a good friend, Glenn “Red” Blaza. This was especially a tough loss for me, as Red was one of the first supporters of 13 Folds, and was one of the very few in the community who was committed to helping out whenever and however he couId. If not in attendance or vending at an event, he was certain to at least donate toward the cause and help in promoting. He was a die hard advocate for the movement and for as long back as I can remember, was a warrior in the fight to end prohibition rather than looking to profit from the cause. In short, the community, and the world lost another GREAT man to cancer last month, and the sadness is quite overwhelming.

To Terry, Nathan, Ashley, Robert, Haley, Tyler, and the rest of Red’s family; I can only offer my heart felt condolences. There are no words that I can say to ease the pain and heartbreak, but please know that there is a vast community dedicated to helping you and we will not leave you by the wayside. We are forever by your side, as Red has been for all of those who have ever had the benefit of calling him a friend. There are plans in motion to help both financially and with the act of remembering him and honoring his name indefinitely. I can not pretend to know your pain, but I do empathize and pray that you will find peace in knowing that he is now in a better place, riding his Harley alongside the gods.

To Red, I will say this; you were a good friend and a better man. Your morals and values were unmatched by any. Your kindness and love spread further than you could possibly imagine. You will forever be missed and loved my friend, we will honor your life indefinitely … once the sadness passes any-ways. Undoubtedly, we know that you are watching us from the heavens above and that this sadness is not what you want for us. But for now, we will remember, and it will hurt. I love and miss you brother.
